Vitamin E Good For Hair

Can Vitamins Regrow Hair?
Having a luxurious head of hair is associated with attractiveness, as reinforced by countless shampoo advertisements with women swinging their thick, shiny head of hair around while groaning ecstatically! That's not to mention scores of advertisements for prescription medications, over-the-counter creams and hair transplant surgeries. Many would be willing to stand on their heads in a bowl full of green Jell-O for 15 minutes a day if they were told it would regrow their hair!

Most of us lose around 100 hairs a day - this is perfectly normal, just look your hairbrush! However, at least 50 percent of all adults will experience hair loss or thinning hair by age 60, and this affects approximately 40 million men and 20 million women. There are many types of hair loss:

Androgenetic alopecia, or pattern baldness. This is the most common type of hair loss. Male pattern baldness usually occurs in the front, crown and sides of the hairline. It's not uncommon for male hair loss to begin in the 20's. An androgen receptor gene on the X chromosome explains why a man's baldness resembles that of his maternal grandfather more than his father. However, baldness can be inherited from the mother's or father's side of the family with equal frequency. Female thinning is most likely to occur on the crown and in the front. In both men and women, this type of hair loss is heredity and permanent.

The hormone dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, is also related to male pattern baldness. DHT binds with receptor sites on hair follicle cells to cause balding and decreases the length of the hair growing cycle so that each new regeneration of hair becomes smaller and thinner. That's why you see so many advertisements for hair loss products extolling their virtues as DHT blockers, such as Propecia. DHT blockers also include natural supplements for thinning hair such as saw palmetto, nettles, pumpkin seed oil, green tea, emu oil, and soy isoflavones.

Telogen effluvium occurs in response to stress. This can be triggered by childbirth, major surgery, serious psychological stress, or serious illness such as high fever or severe flu. However, hair loss may not occur until three to six months following the stressful incident, so it's difficult to connect the stress with the loss. Hair usually regrows within six to nine months.

Alopecia areata is temporary hair loss characterized by round patches of hair falling out of the scalp. This hereditary disease of the immune system can affect children or adults and is caused by white blood cells attacking the hair follicle.

Hair loss can also be affected by these other factors:

· Side effects of medications or treatments, including medications to treat arthritis, depression, heart problems, high blood pressure and gout - plus chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

· Symptoms of illness, such as diabetes, lupus or thyroid disorders.

· Overuse of hair treatments and products such as hair dye, permanents, straighteners, hot rollers, curling irons and blow dryers. This is called traumatic alopecia.

· Poor nutrition. This is especially true if you don't get enough protein or iron in your diet.

Given all this, is vitamin E good for hair? Despite what all those exciting commercials say, current research shows that there is no absolute direct correlation between taking vitamin supplements and permanent hair regrowth. There's a popular misconception that Vitamin E regrows hair. You can take all the Vitamin E supplements you want to, and even rub it on your head, but it won't magically transform you into a Muppet in dire need of a haircut!
However, non-hereditary hair loss is an indicator of poor health. As a result, you should ensure that you're eating a healthy diet and taking the right vitamins and minerals that help to prevent hair loss. Unexplained hair loss should be evaluated as a symptom of other health problems - if you experience this, check with your physician.

Although no particular vitamin or product will give you a head of hair like Cher's in the 70's, you should take minerals and vitamins that help prevent hair loss to complement your nutritious diet. Good nutrition is important to overall health and healthy hair growth. The following vitamins and minerals have been shown to help to prevent hair loss:

Vitamin A: This antioxidant produces healthy scalp sebum. Daily dose is 5,000 IU. Caution: Ingesting more than 25,000 IU of vitamin A daily is toxic - it can cause hair loss and other serious health problems. Food sources include fish liver oil, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, apricots and peaches.

Vitamin B 3, or Niacin: Promotes scalp circulation. Daily dose is 15 mg. Food sources include brewer's yeast, wheat germ and fish.

Vitamin B 5, or Pantothenic acid: Helps prevent graying and hair loss. Daily dose is 4 to 7 mg. Food sources include whole grain cereals, brewer's yeast and egg yolks.

Vitamin B 6: Helps prevents hair loss and assists in the production of melanin, which gives hair its color. Daily dose is 1.6 mg. Food sources include brewer's yeast, whole grain cereals, vegetables and egg yolks.

Vitamin B 12: Helps prevents hair loss. Daily dose is 2 mg. Food sources include fish and eggs.

Vitamin C: This antioxidant maintains healthy skin and hair. Daily dose is 60 mg. Food sources include citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, cantaloupe, pineapple, tomatoes, green peppers, potatoes and dark green veggies.

Vitamin E: Does vitamin E promote hair growth? Well, this antioxidant does encourage scalp circulation. Daily dose is up to 400 IU. Food sources include cold-pressed vegetable oils, wheat germ oil, soybeans, raw seeds and nuts, dried beans, and leafy green veggies.

Biotin: Helps produce keratin, which may prevent graying and hair loss. Daily dose is 150 to 300 mcg. Food sources include brewer's yeast, whole grains, egg yolks and rice.

Inositol: Keeps hair follicles healthy at the cellular level. Daily dose is up to 600 mg. Food sources include whole grains, brewer's yeast and citrus fruits.

Calcium: An essential mineral that boosts hair growth. Daily dose is up to 1,500 mg. Food sources include tofu, fish, nuts, brewer's yeast, beans, lentils and sesame seeds.

Chromium: Helps prevent hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, which can cause hair loss. Daily dose: Up to 120 mg. Food sources include brewer's yeast and whole wheat bread.

Copper: Helps prevent hair loss and defects in color or structure. Daily dose is up to 3 mg; but more than that can lead to dry hair, hair loss and severe health problems. Food sources include shellfish, green vegetables, whole grains, eggs and beans.

Iodine: Prevents dry hair and hair loss. Daily dose is 150 mcg. Food sources include fish, seaweed, kelp, iodized salt and garlic.

Iron: Prevents hair loss. Daily dose is 15 mg. Food sources include eggs, fish, whole grains, green vegetables and dried fruits.

Magnesium: This is one of the vitamins to regrow hair; it works in tandem with calcium to promote healthy hair growth. Daily dose is 280 mg. Food sources include green vegetables, wheat germ, whole grains, nuts, soy beans, chickpeas and fish.

Potassium: This is another one of the vitamins that make hair regrow; potassium promotes healthy hair growth. Daily dose is 3,500 mg. Food sources include avocados, bananas, lima beans, brown rice, dates, figs, dried fruit, garlic, nuts, potatoes, raisins, yams and yogurt.

Selenium: Keeps scalp supple and elastic. Daily dose is 55 mcg, but more than that can cause hair loss. Food sources include brewer's yeast, grains, tuna and broccoli.

Silica: This natural supplement for thinning hair strengthens hair and prevents hair loss. Daily dose is 55 mcg, but excessive amounts can lead to hair loss. Food sources include seafood, rice, soybeans and green vegetables.

Sulfur: Sulfur is a main component in hair structure. Daily dose is 1 to 3 g. Food sources include onions, garlic, eggs, asparagus, fish and dairy products.

Zinc: Zinc works in tandem with vitamin A; a deficiency in either can cause dry hair. Daily dose is 12 mg. Food sources include spinach, sunflower seeds, mushrooms, whole grains and brewer's yeast.

In addition to vitamins and minerals that boost hair growth, you should also include omega-3 fatty acids in your diet to prevent hair loss. Good sources include wild Alaskan salmon, sardines, herring, mackerel, flax seeds and walnuts.

Instead of trying to take each one of these vitamins and minerals separately each day, consider a complete multivitamin. A good one will provide all these nutrients in the sufficient, yet safe dosages. In addition, here are some helpful hair care tips:

· Use all-natural biotin-based shampoo and conditioner to help your hair appear thicker.

· Be easy with your hair; brush it gently, starting from the bottom and working your way up. Don't ever harshly tug downward on tangles.

· Don't blow dry your hair, use curling irons or hot rollers. Try some firm hair gel and a round styling brush instead; style your hair, then let it air dry.

· Don't frequently put your hair in ponytail holders or barrettes, and never use rubber bands on your hair!

· Shorter hairstyles make hair look thicker.

· Avoid the Donald Trump comb over style at all costs!

To improve your hair's health and the overall physical condition of your body, take the next step and improve dietary nutrition, take the right vitamin and mineral supplements, and minimize the stress in your life.

  5. QUESTION:
Is Vitamin E good for hair???
Lately my hair has been falling out... I used to have really super thick hair but little by little its been falling... it might be stress related but i really want the fullness of my hair to come back... is vitamin E good for that?? if not does anyone have any suggestions??

    • ANSWER:
I know this is not going to get the best answer, and I know other people will scoff, but vitamin E does nothing at all for hair. If you have a vitamin deficiency your hair will look bad, but no extra vitamins will make it look better than normal.

Hair is an outgrowth of dead skin cells and because it is dead it can't be 'healthy' or 'unhealthy'. If you don't have enough vitamin E (or any vitamin for that matter) your hair will lose shine and look unhealthy because your body would stop producing certain oils and nutrients. Also if you are malnourished or not eating properly some of your hair may fall out.

Your best bet is to go see a dietician (NOT a nutritionist, nutritionists are plagued with myths and pop science and are typically not appropriately qualified) and make sure you are eating right, mention that your hair looks different and appears to have lost shine. You may also want to consider using a less harsh shampoo as shampoo (mostly detergent and perfumes) may strip your hair in an attempt to make it look shiny and just wind up damaging it.

  6. QUESTION:
is Vitamin B good for hair?!?
Does Vitamin B help your hair grow faster? Which Vitamin would help more? I also heard about Vitamin E? Could someone help? In the September issue of Teen Vogue's extra little pamphlet a professional stylist said celebs take Bioten or Biotin(sp?) that is rich in B vitamins..it helps their hair? I just want to grow my hair outt..

    • ANSWER:
Well it depends what type of vitamin B you have.

Here is a list of vitamins good for hair:

      * Vitamin A: it is an antioxidant that aids in the making of healthy sebum in the scalp. Food sources rich in Vitamin A are fish liver oil, meat, milk, cheese, eggs, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, apricots and peaches.

      * Vitamin C: they work towards maintaining hair health. Sources of vitamin C are citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, cantaloupe, pineapple, tomatoes, and dark green vegetables.

      * Vitamin E: it helps in improving the scalp circulation. Food sources rich in vitamin E are vegetable oils, wheat germ oil, soybeans, raw seeds and nuts, dried beans, and leafy green vegetables.

      * Biotin: it works as an anti aging agent by preventing graying of hair and hair loss. Sources of biotin are: whole grains, egg yolks, liver, rice and milk.

      * Vitamin B6: Prevents hair loss. Food sources include brewer's yeast, liver, whole grain cereals, vegetables, organ meats and egg yolk.

      * Vitamin B12: Prevents hair loss. Rich food sources include chicken, fish, eggs and milk.

I don't think biotin is in vitamin b, but is in other foods.
all these vitamins help hair in many different ways.

which vitamins are good for hair and skin?
which vitamins are best for hair and skin.
i mean which one from A,B,C,D,E are the best for hair and skin?
do vitamins capsules have any side effects?

    • ANSWER:
I have been taking hair supplements for the past 3 years and here is what I have found.
GNC makes a tablet called "Ultra Nourishair" in formulas for men and women, the pills are taken daily, 2 pills a day. They are HUGE and very hard to swallow, if you have any trouble at all with large tablets, then I wouldn't recommend these. The 2 pills also contain only 1200 micrograms total of Biotin, which is the main supplement needed for hair to grow faster and stronger. You should try to get a minimum of 2500 micrograms of Biotin daily to improve hair's rate of growth and its condition. Even though I took these GNC pills for 4 months, I wouldn't recommend them because they are not the most high quality pills available.
ProCaps labs makes a great supplement called "Hair Skin and Nails" formula, here is the link for that
      http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/pages/pro...
This is in capsule form and much easier to swallow. This company, ProCaps labs is also extremely reputable and carries pure and effective products.
I took GNC's Nourishair for four months, and supplemented it with extra Biotin tablets daily due to its low Biotin content. I took 2500 micrograms extra Biotin with the GNC pills.
The Procaps hair vites have 2500 micrograms of Biotin in them, and don't really require extra Biotin be taken, but I do take an additional 2500 micrograms of Biotin for a daily total of 5000 micrograms of Biotin.
My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but all of these supplements have really made a difference.
The only way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made, any shampoos or oils or other topically applied things do nothing to change hair's structure, that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.. Keep in mind, regardless of how many or how much you take of any supplement, hair is never going to grow at a "Jack and the beanstalk" type of rate, the most you can hope for is to improve the strength and health of each hair follicle and to see an incremental increase in the rate of its growth.

other vitamins, for better hair, skin, and nails. I take biotin, zinc, b12, and vitamin e. I was wondering if taking all these vitamins together would be harmful, meaning I might be getting too much? Also I was wondering if the prenatal vitamins cause you to be more likely to get pregnant? (I also take Loestrin24 for birth control)
    thank you

    • ANSWER:
Yes, you might be taking too many vitamins. That will not help your hair. Just eat a healthy diet. And the prenatal vitamins will not make it easier to get pregnant.

  21. QUESTION:
What are Fish Oil and Vitamin E pills good for?
I heard that it is good for hair growth is that true?

    • ANSWER:
I have not heard they are good for hair growth and recent studies do not support that vitamin E is good for much of anything. Fish oil, however is reportedly good for your heart and arteries, and most importantly it increases your beneficial cholesterol HDL. In my case by taking fish oil and niacin I doubled my HDL. The niacin dose was very low and of the type that isn't supposed to help HDL so I mainly credit the fish oil. Fish oil is also supposed to lower the incidence of Alzheimer's and reduce joint inflammation. The reason you don't see a lot of studies or advertising is that no one can patent fish oil and make a huge profit on it like they can on a prescription drug.

  22. QUESTION:

  23. QUESTION:
What can I do for Damaged hair like any suggestions biotin/Vitamin E ect?
best conditioner or anything What is a good hair care regimen for damaged hair that's been chemically straightened and died several times?

    • ANSWER:
I had really damaged hair last year, i was always dying it and putting heat on it, so to cure my damaged hair, i had to basically cut the damaged parts pieces out. I picked on a hair color that i was going to stick with for a while and tried to keep a much heat of my hair as possible. I don't blow dry my hair anymore, i let it air dry that why the only heat i put on my hair is the flat iron. I try to only flat iron my hair once a week, which is a really challenging task since i have extremely curly hair in which it curls up at any sign of moisture. I used to use Herbal Essence but after awhile, i found my hair dried out from the shampoo and so i switch to Garnier. Although i like Garnier, i found suave to be a better match for my hair. I didn't think it would be that good seeing as its so cheap but you really get more product than what you pay for! Suave professionals sleek works wonders on my hair, it looks shiny and it stays straight way longer. I don't have to put anything in my hair i just wash, condition for about 15 min, air dry and straighten out. Plus they all smell so good. Also use a deep conditioner once a month, and let that sit for as long as u can. that helps a lot. I had to cut a lot of my hair off last year, but now my hair is healthier than ever, i get compliments all the time and my hair grew back to almost its normal length! good luck!

  24. QUESTION:
Is Vitamin E Good for Your hair? Swallowing or Opening the pill??
Which one is better?? Should I openthe pill and put the oil in my scalp? Or... Swallow the Pill?

Swallow the pill but use conditioner with vitamin E in it. Also Biotin (another vitamin) is good for growing healthy hair and nails. You can go to the drugstore or Walmart and get some pills and take them daily. If you want healthy hair you should take a multi-vitamin because your body needs more than one vitamin to grow healthy hair.

  26. QUESTION:
How is vitamin e oil good for skin and hair?

    thanks everyone!

    • ANSWER:
Vitamin E Oil is great for your skin and hair!

      Hair:
It's excellent at repairing damage such as split ends and dryness. Also, it can boost shine, soften your hair and improve its overall texture.

      Skin:
For you skin it's great at boost a healthy and natural glow and it's good for improving the skins texture.

Also the things to remember about using vitamin e oil is that if it is in an oil form instead of in a product then its not suitable for oily skin and skin with acne or prone to acne. If you're going to use vitamin e oil (in the form of an oil) in your hair as a leave in conditioner than just don't use too much or it will obviously make your hair appear (well, be..) oily.

      Hope this helped :)

    • ANSWER:
Biotin. Do not double up the dosage. Follow the recommended dosage and drink water with silica. Fiji-Water for example. Silica that is naturally found in the water is extremely good for hair, nails and skin.

Avoid a much as possible refined sugars.. they cause candidas build up in the body, which impairs the the skins main function of detoxification.

      So in short:
      1. Biotin
      2. Water that has Silica (i.e Fiji water)
      3. Avoid refined sugar

    • ANSWER:
The best vitamin I can recommend is ELON Matrix 5,000. This will provide you with Biotin l-cycteine and silica, which are the 3 key components of healthy skin, hair and nails.

Be careful when looking for vitamins they can be misleading and dangerous.

#1.) Vitamin E can be very dangerous and cause health problems. Do not intake more than 33IU per day.

#2.) Drugstore imitations are just that. They often list the total amount in a vitamin not the amount of usable or absorbable. With many vitamins are only a portion of the total is absorbed by your body. Only 1/100th of biotin is absorbed by your body. ELON lists the absorbable amount not total. Be careful for scams like that.

#3.) Certain vitamins can be harmful to you if you have pre existing health conditions so always consult a doctor before taking any oral supplement.

      Hope this helps! Good luck!

  32. QUESTION:
Does anyone have proof on what vitamin E is good for?
people say that it is good to get stronger and longer hair and good for skin and that it srengthening nails. is that true?

    • ANSWER:
Vitamin E was discovered in 1922 with experiments on rats. When fed a purified diet devoid of vitamin E, the rats became infertile. Wheat germ oil added to their diet restored their fertility. Later, the oil-based substance was isolated and called the "antisterility" vitamin. (Tokos and phero are the Greek words for "offspring" and "to bear," so tocopherol literally means "to bear children.") Though there is no clear deficiency disease in humans, vitamin E is well accepted as an essential vitamin. There is some question, however, as to whether vitamin E is needed for fertility. From general public experience, though, it seems to be clear that vitamin E makes a difference to many. The average diet today contains much less natural vitamin E than it did 50 years ago; we will see soon why, and what vitamin E actually does in the body.

  33. QUESTION:
Does vitamin B help with hair?
Or is it vitamin E or D? My vitamin b supplements have biotin in them and i know that's good for hair.

What about prenatal vitamins? Are those better than just taking like vitamin B or E?

I'm asking because my hair is very fine and damaged from bleaching. So I'm doing everything I can to get it healthy again.

  34. QUESTION:
Is a little bit of Castor oil or Vitamin E oil any good for the hair?

    • ANSWER:
Vitamin E oil is good for your hair.
Im using it now and it makes my hair soft and silky.
It also made my hair a lot longer and healthy.
I use a castor oil hair grease also by softee. (you can also try proclaim)
      Its real good.
When I first used it my hair was very dry but within a week my hair was beautiful. The castor oil also helped protect my hair from heat and getting split ends or hair breakage. it makes your hair alot stronger.
so when you use both oils its double the power.

but just dont use a lot because it can clog up the pores in your scalp and it can mess up your hair.

I think you should use the Vitamin E oil once a week and try using the Castor oil maybe 2-3 times a week.

      Hope I helped!

Looking for a Good Hair Spray?
I'm Looking for a Good Hair Spray that Thickens and Strengthen Weak, Damaged Hair and Has Protein and Vitamin A D E for a Healthy, Strong, Growing Hair. So can you help me find a product like that. Thanks.

    • ANSWER:
I hope someone on here really does have one for you....but I've never heard of a hairspray with all that good stuff (wtf, there SHOULD be one though). a big ingredient in hairspray is alcohol which dries out your hair a ton, but I have heard there are alcohol free hairsprays, so if you can't find one with vitamins and protein, then I'd say at least try using an alcohol free one.

Hemp is an amazing material and can pretty much be made into anything, even hair products. There are hemp hair products at sally's or beauty mart, you could try that too.

  42. QUESTION:
Vitamin E or Biotin, witch is better for hair growth?
I've been taking vitamin e pill for about 1 month and I bought biotin today and I want to try it as well. But i want to know which one is better for my hair growth.

    • ANSWER:
Biotin is supposed to be brilliant for hair growth.
People who have suffered with alopicia have claimed this supplement has actually helped their hair growth.
After researching a lot about biotin myself i found you need to take it in quite large doses for it to be affective in helping with hair loss..but the good thing about biotin is that ...even if taken in large amount their is NO apparent side affects whatsoever!
I take biotin, on the bottle it says 300micro gram, 1-a-day.
I actually take 2000micrograms everyday to help hair growth (not that i suffer with alopicia!!)
      Some people even take 5000micrograms.
Its been tested in japan with levels up to 9000micrograms a day and was said to reduce blood sugar levels in people with a certain type of diabetes with no other side effects.
Research Biotin on the net, you will be impressed.
I would recommend you Consult your doctor before taking any supplement first though.

  44. QUESTION:
Is Vitamin E good to put in my hair?
I was this big product junkie. I looked for all of the high priced shampoos and conditioners and hair oil. I wanted the best 'cause that what I thought was going to make my hair grow. Now after reading the INGREDIENTS of the expencive products I was shocked to see all the bad fillers and added fragrences and the ones I can't even read. I was vexed on how that would promote healthy hair growth. Now I only use jojoba oil and vitamin E oil, oh and very close to organic shampoo and conditioner. Is this the best option for my afo- relaxed hair?

    • ANSWER:
Yes,and jojoba oil is not only good for hair but also is a good carrier-oil,meaning it will help the Vit-E penetrate a bit deeper.

Another natural/healthy thing you could use is Omega 3,6,&9 Complex,(it's actually a supplement you take orally,it comes in a soft-gel capsule filled with an oil),you can take the capsules, pop them open and add about 5-10 of them into your bottles of shampoo and conditioner,or mix them with your Vit-E/Jojoba mix.

Omega is great for hair and your overall health,I'd take them orally too for that reason.

  45. QUESTION:
How do i wash vitamin E sticky and oily residue out of my hair?
well i put vitamin E oil in my hair from broken vitamin tablets to see if it would do anything good for my hair but after ive taken a shower a second night its still there =/

does the vitamin bond to the hair or is it just sticky stuff thats hard to get out?

    • ANSWER:
Use a clarifying shampoo or if you don't have that, get some baking soda and mix it into your shampoo (half baking soda/half shampoo) and that'll work as a clarifying shampoo also.

& if you don't have that either, dish soap will work but it's damaging to your hair

  46. QUESTION:
is vitamin E oil good for both skin and hair?? can i use it for hair massage?

    • ANSWER:

  47. QUESTION:
They say that Vitamin e is good for your skin,?
Sp if i got a bottle of it and applied some to my skin, would it be good? Oh and does anyone take fish oil pills, they say its good for your hair and skin so whats the scoop in those too :) ?

    • ANSWER:
Vitamin E is a good moisturizer, but it is very oily! Fish oils, specifically Omega 3's are good for every one to take!! Don't bother with the omega 6 or omega 9 as you get enough omega 6 from all the oils that are use in todays diets, and your body makes omega 9.

  48. QUESTION:
Is Soybean oil good for natural hair and is it a protein?
I have vitamin e oil and I put it in my hair because it has vitamin e, soybean oil, and coconut oil is this good, becaus ever since I been using it along with the shea butter, glycerin, vitamin B complex, tea tree oil, and Biotin, my breakage has decreased tremendously, I only get lil fine hairs but not a lot. I mean when I comb my hair its hardly none of my hair in the comb at all. I was just wondering is I am doing my hair the right way?

    • ANSWER:
Yes you are you are doing very well, so keep up the good work.
And yes Soybean contains protein and protein strengthens the hair but once the hair is nice and strong you do not need to continue. The reason being that over proteinizing the hair will cause breakage
Suggestion: once the hair is nice and strong go to a good moisturizing, conditioning shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner. About every 6 to 8 weeks use the soy products. This show keep it nice and in order.
I am so proud of you.

  49. QUESTION:
biotin and vitamin e for hair?
i'm taking biotin 300 mcg for hair growth now i just read that vitamin e pills are also good for hair growth can i take vitamin e with biotin or it is harm-full to take both together please help

    • ANSWER:
Nope. It's not harmful. Its good to take vitamin supplements.

  50. QUESTION:
i have a baby oil that says vitamin e is that gonna be good for my hair?

    • ANSWER:
      No! Definitely not.

EDIT: Just because vitamin E promotes hair growth doesn't mean baby oil is going to be good for the hair. Alot of moisturizers have coconut and almond oil in it which are great for hair, but because most also contain petroleum and mineral oil, it isn't good for the hair at all.
